FAQ

HOW ARE TIP TOP GALLERY’S PRINTS CREATED?
To ensure the highest quality, our archival pigment prints are created in collaboration with our artists. We use the most advanced digital printers and inks, and always use 100% cotton rag paper.

HOW LONG DO ARCHIVAL PIGMENT PRINTS LAST?
Using Epson UltraChrome HDR Inks, each of our prints has a Lightfastness Ratings of up to 200 years for color prints, and over 200 years for black and white prints.

ARE THE PRINTS FROM TIP TOP GALLERY SIGNED BY THE ARTIST?
No, the actual print itself is not signed, but each artist hand signs a Certificate of Authenticity that includes the artwork title, size, date of printing, edition number and embossed seal. All prints come with this Certificate, allowing the buyer to know the artwork is original. Make sure to include this certificate when framing your artwork.

WHAT IS AN EDITION?
An edition is a pre-determined number of original prints of a specific size (200 prints at 8”x10”). Once the edition is sold out, it will not be released again.

DOES THE FINAL ARTWORK HAVE A BORDER?
Yes, in fact, the size quoted equal the size of the final piece, not the printed artwork. Please see our
“Printing” section for more information.

DOES THE ARTWORK FROM TIP TOP GALLERY LOOK LIKE THE IMAGE ON MY COMPUTER?
We work closely with each artist to ensure the final image is aligned with their original vision. All of our printers and monitors are calibrated, most monitors however, are not. Because of this colors can vary a great deal from one computer to the next, therefore, the artwork you receive may look a bit different than on your computed.

WHO OWNS THE COPYRIGHT TO TIP TOP GALLERY ARTWORK?
The artist who created the image owns all copyrights, the copyright is NOT transferred to the buyer of the artwork.

HOW DO THE TIP TOP GALLERY ARTISTS BENEFIT?
The sale of each image is split 50/50 with the artist.
